About Beyond Your Words W e write educational books dealing with adolescent issues, directed at tweens: boys and girls ages 8-14. Our target market is concerned parents and their tween-age children who may not recognize the dangers posed by our increasingly technological and complicated world.We create heart-warming text and spirited illustrations to uplift and inspire children to remember how special they are. Our books encourage young readers to reflect on the effects of their actions. We found ourselves wishing that we had access to books like these during our own adolescent years. There are so many questions that we could not ask our parents, even though we trusted them. Sadly, many adults are ill prepared and uninformed, on the effects of technology and this creates a further barrier to effective communication between generations. We firmly believe that our books ease the fear and discomfort that both children and parents feel. Many families do not know how to openly communicate about the topics our books explore.
