Danielle wrote this story to share with children that it is their choice to either see the glass half full, or half empty. This story emphasizes that it is important to see the beauty and greatness in the world, rather than the sorrow and pain.

"Peter would say, 'I love these Levi's, I love this shirt, I love my sneakers... and I'm happy I don't have to wear a skirt. Everything is perfect mommy! You know just what to pick and just what to do.' Then Nancy would yell out, 'I don't like my shirt, I don't like my skirt, and my shoes are too small... and they just hurt!'"
