Danielle Tiano - The Author

Danielle Tiano is a writer-speaker-illuminator and an expert in her field. She is an author with a purpose: to help children overcome daily obstacles, enrich their lives and cultivate their growth. Tiano has authored several children’s books covering important and difficult subject matter including childhood obesity, attention deficit disorder, technology addiction, cyber-bulling, and self esteem. Tiano’s latest accomplishment is the Temptation of a Generation book series. The series addresses the difficult task of talking to children about how technology is changing the way they view and live their lives. She addresses the critical importance behind Internet safety, offering parents information and tools for raising their children to become more emotionally and socially equipped to handle life's challenges.

Tiano’s books have earned her a devoted following amongst families nationally. An animated storyteller, she has gained attention while reading to parents, educators and students. Tiano writes in a rhyming format, which allows children to absorb the information in her stories in a more playful way. Her books have a common thread to convey to children the importance in believing in themselves.

Tiano had the honor to pen a customized book for The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim baseball franchise and Miller Children’s Hospital, entitled “If You Want To Play…Eat The Right Way.” Her books have also been featured on The Dr. Laura Radio Show, KOA News, Fox San Diego, AZ Family, CW6 San Diego Living. KSWT Channel 13 Yuma, Every Day with Marcus and Liza Atlanta, ‘The Parents Hour’ on Voice America Radio, WLEA New York Radio, Fox Sports West, Daybreak OC TV and KSL Channel 5 TV to name a few. With the Temptation Series, Tiano partnered with ikeepsafe.org and the PBS Network show, "The Doo-it's.”

Tiano has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She currently resides in Newport Beach with her loving husband and best friend, Charlie, who showers her with love and support every day.
